Defender
Is a system made of steel
in nickel-chrome and manganese for protection of the European
cylinder.
The exclusive oval form gives it an excellent strength on
all sides and exceptional adherence to the door. This system
is approved in compliance with European standards 4/4/C
( Gasperotti exclusive system ).

Designed
for absolute safety
Gasperotti
doesn’t produce cylinders but builds DEFENDER,
a necessary protection of a cylinder locking system,
to avoid breaking in or illegal tampering. It
has been shown that many European cylinders have
a weak point, since they’re jutting out.
Our product defender is particularly sturdy and
approved by the rigid European STANDARDS-CATEGORY
4/4 C.
Its particular resistance to continual
physical stress, knocks, wrenching etc. is currently
regarded as providing the top cylinder protection
on the market in Europe. The EUROPA DOOR ’96
with a duel combined cylinder system, also allows
the master key to open the service lock.

Installation
of Defender with a joint system and screws fixing it securely
in the structure of the security door. An internal blocking
system of the cylinder ( anti push ) is an essential security
feature.

The
security lock activated by the European cylinder is a system
that offers a wide range of code combinations. The market
is in constant evolution and offers various types of cylinders,
some more sophisticated and equipped with anti-perforation
steel bolts, parts in special steel, magnetic or electronic
systems with hundred of thousands of differing combinations.
The convenience of easily replacing the cylinder when necessary
without changing the security lock, together with the reduced
dimensions of the key and the possibility of the opening
of all selected doors ( security door, garage door, gate,
etc. ) with a single key – to be improved in future
systems – makes this system particularly safe and
can be further improved upon in time.
European
Cylinder
This
type of lock offers further possibilities of integrating
access to selected doors with one single key and at the
same time partially blocking access to other keys. This
allows access from the gate to the entrance door, from the
garage to the house entrance door and from the basement
to the office with one key, while preventing the normal
office key from opening the house door etc. A further application
to the cylinder is the installation of a powered system
which allows opening and closing with various command/control
systems.
The cylinder lock can be fitted when the door is being installed.
The lock is supplied with keys and a card with a secret
code which allows duplication by the owner if the keys are
misplaced or lost. A master key may be supplied on request,
but its use will be allowed only until termination of work.
